DIY Rain Harvesting Basics Workshop
This workshop will show multiple simple techniques for harvesting rainwater and using it in the garden, including building an infiltration basin/bio-swale to water a native grass lawn. This is a hands-on workshop, so come ready to get dirty! It will be taught by Golden Love, an ARCSA Accredited Professional, at a residence in the Seabright area on Saturday Nov. 3, 9 AM – 3 PM. People will learn how to calculate available rain water, storage capacity of soils, and build a catchment feature with piping. The cost is $25. Register at www.lovesgardens.com.
